Status: offline 		This is why I think he is in trouble. Blacks came out big time to vote for him but are worse off now than 4 years ago. Unemployment has hit them harder than the norm. Will they come out again in big numbers ? Students came out in big numbers. Now these grads can't find a job. Elderly also supported Obama. After 500 billion was moved from medicare to Obamacare, not so much. This age group pays attention. The Jews , Catholics and other religioins will have to think twice before supporting this guy again. Obama will regret a war with New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan. I see him losing a lot of voters that put him ther and not gaining many new ones,,Michael

I dont think that the armchair theorizing on who hes pissed off and who are disgusted with him is reflected in any real data.

Numbers look like he is in for another 4 years.

Raised Taxes on small business.
created universal healthcare.
absentee ownership of a company that destroyed other companies, and shipped most jobs overseas.
large budget deficit.
promised every college graduate a job (thats a fuckin entitlement there, hah?)
Enforced, signed and presided over the bill for the first state to allow  gay marriage.


Add to this list the teabagger implosions and you are going to end up with the republicans singing his praises and haughty speech and then when the record is looked at they will claim they were fooled, like St Wrinklemeat, Nixon et al, W...remember that?  Oh,. but he wasn't a fiscal conservative.....

And pretend that they didn't do it to us.

Through the Nixon years, the Reagan years, the Bush years, the Bush years... not one of them have ever made mention of the intent (much less made an attempt) to eliminate Medicare

In fact, W added to it with his prescription drug plan

No one with half brain is going to announce they`re flush with cash.If folks think you have lots of money.....they`re less likely to send you more.

That's right, and since Obama has said he is targeting the "average joe" in his emails he wouldn't want them to know he really doesn't need the money. After all they have lots to spare right? And you think it's ok for him to imply the dems are broke so everyone will break out their wallets and give more? So much for the libs caring about the poor

The economy's recovering (albeit slowly). Taxes have been cut. Gay rights have taken a leap forward. We've stopped torturing our POWs. We're getting out of Iraq and Afganistan. The ACA's high risk pool program has let me quit a dead-end job, go back to school, and go into business. It's not as much as we hoped for, but I still think hope and change is a valid assessment of the situation.

If he loses it won't be over his tax returns. The ones raising a fuss over his tax returns Are not the ones who would vote for him anyway. The ones who are already in his camp don't care.
