Welcome to the discussion side of CM, Storms.
You are fairly close to Cinci, which has an active though not huge scene. Same with Dayton. How far are you from Indy? About 100 miles? Indy has some groups as well. So does Louisville.
So, get yourself out and about. A good looking, well educated person such as yourself should have no problems meeting people in the local social scenes.
It's been my experience all the Indy scenes are people coupled up already. (Unless they have started a TYG group that I don't know about.). They do have play parties and demos, though, and you can learn a *lot* from them.
Can't tell you much about Cinci or Dayton, except per people I've talked to, they have active scenes with play parties and such.
There is a kinky social networking group called FetLife, which has a great search system to find local groups in your area.
