Once upon a time, the Humor and Games section had jokes. It linked to funny videos, pictures, or just told stories.

Not anymore.

It has been taken over by games. To play the games, people have to post a lot, which instantly buries anything that is NOT a game.

Now, I have nothing against the games. But I would like to see the return of the jokes.

Could we perchance set up a SEPARATE FORUM for jokes? That way the games won't bury the jokes.

Any comments?

Yeah....it was May of 2011 that one of the Mods (I think it was VAA) decided it would be better to move the games into the humor forum.

It has been suggested a couple times since to make a games forum separate from all others. You can find at least some of the humorous items that have been posted lately in Polls and Other Random Snippets

I agree with the OP. I think the games should be jettisoned off to their own forum so that the humourous stuff doesn't, as the OP stated, get buried by the games stuff. :)

I am in one hundred percent agreement.

I rarely play the games and I really miss the jokes.

I agree that "games" needs to have it's own section.  I recently started a thread asking people to share some of their favorite international music.  I put it in "off topic" but some Mod, in their own brand of wisdom, decided to place it in with the games and humor, of which my thread was neither.  As a result, it got lost and went no-where.
