MstrPBK -> S&M people do gardening (serious question) (6/28/2012 5:15:55 PM)

I want to establish a hot bed; for gardening not slave play; and I need to understand what circulation is needed for the winter months.
I have already asked a gardening forum and all I got was silence. I am hoping that someone here has some idea.

Have you tried this site?

http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/

When I still had a yard and a suburban home, it was always extremely helpful and people used to be very friendly and helpful. It was one of my favorite sites for plants and gardens.

I don't know anything about hot beds though so I can't help you on that point. [&o]

They make hydraulic hinges for those boxes that are heat activated to raise the lid if the internal temp reaches your set point - they are adjustable in 1 degree increments from 60 to 77 degrees F.

Thanks for the information. Might be a good alternative to watching off and on over the winter.
