Hi! Did you guys miss Me over the weekend? Well, I missed you.
I promised that I would put up My post con report. These are just My thoughts.
Let's see. This whole thing started Thursday evening. We went to this comfy gay bar. It was advertised as a 'meet the presenters' thing and a pot latch. (Yeah, I thought that was weird, too.) Evidently, "pot latch" means lots of alcohol and very little food. Have I ever mentioned that I like Bacardi?
Our host in the city was wonderful. We had a big king sized bed provided and My wake up call on Friday morning was awesome. Let's just say I blushed.
<Cough, cough sputter.>
OK, off to the breakfast. I was taken by the hand and led into various classrooms. I met all of the other presenters face to face. Lovely people. I felt funny at first being the only female Dominant.
Breakfast was an hour late. Some kind of snafu about getting food cooked. The eggs showed up somewhere about 11:30. By then, I'd been chewing on My own lip since ten. I was nervous as hell. Have I mentioned that one of My classes was the first on the program?
"From Monogamy to Poly" was the first list on the schedule. I was pleased that so many came to that class. I introduced Myself as Lady Pact and I'm scared to death of all of you. It broke the ice. My fears lasted for ten minutes or so, and then the educator came out. I was in My element. That part felt good.
The M2P class went well. Q&A was fantastic. I'm not really a public speaker, but I was born to do this.
My next class was the following day. BDSM on a budget. Goodness! I have so many prevertables! I didn't think I had 90 minutes of material, but before I knew it, My time was up.
My crowning glory was the wax class. I had made all of My candles, Myself and people had been playing with them during the weekend. My loving husband was My bottom. I told the famous "orgy noises" story. People laughed. They connected with Me. It was wonderful.
The awards dinner left much to be desired. The food was great! The show, not so much. One man baked bread for us all day. The stuffed mushrooms rocked! Mushroom soup with cranberries, people! I had seconds.
Supposedly, there is some people's choice award for the favorite presenter. I hear that My name was mentioned...... A lot. The winner gets invited back next year. From the scuttlebutt, I have a shot at it. That would be greater than great.
I was given a patch during the award ceremony. It's the prettiest thing you ever saw. I've collected lots of pins over the years, but that's My first patch. (Excuse Me. My leather is showing.)
All in all, a great experience. My life is awesome.
