This may be a stupid question but I see many people have their personal picture posted instead of an avatar. How do you do that exactly? I keep looking on my profile information and the only area I see is for an avatar. Any help is appreciated. THANKS!

my profile -- right here in the forums. in the avatars section ... you will get the gimmick when you get there

I just checked and the photo showing here on mine is the first one I have listed in my collection of photos on yahoo messenger. It's where it takes me when I click on "Change my photo". Could that be it for you? Carolsea

click on my profile at the top of the page; scroll down to "my avatar" and "unchoose' your avatar so that your photo is used instead
