Why the hell do I even go to the other side of this site and read journals? I get all My feathers in a bunch every time I see someone bashing Fin Dommes. I always tell Myself to let people think what they want. I must be a glutton for punishment. However, I feel like maybe there are some people that can be reached and talked sense into (you know as far as, we aren't all whore and such). Do you have any idea what kind of money I would have if I were a whore? I'd be driving a bently!! Lol.

Sorry, small rant. No question there, just grrrr.

Everytime I here about Fin Dommes I just get this mental image of a Jimmy Buffet concert and I see a Domme with a shark fin on her back and pink flamingo's in her bedroom!

i think a big part of your personality is just being nice and wanting to help people. after that builds up a while, you seek an outlet. that's very noble, and i admire you for that. but it's not really your job, and perhaps not a good way to reach out (unsolicited discussion of their journal, dunno).

What you see on line doesn't reflect the real world. There are many real people with profiles on line and I met my perfect woman on line, but the real people and my Domme are the exceptions. Most of what you see on line is a load of BS that you must sift through to find the ones who are real.

I´m the same, but on the forums. Even though I don´t give a damn what people think of me or of Fin/ProDommes, I still comment in the hope that the antis might actually think things through and decide to accept the concept. Bloody waste of time, but it´s the lack of tolerance that bothers me.

(I´d go for an Aston Martin myself, TN [:D])

Karm, that was funny, turn off your manspeak,lol. But good advice, I like the manspeak better, seemed more real. I don't like sugar coating.
MissKitty, you are right, Ashton Martin does sound better, plus I can quit My real jobs lol.

I don't usually read the journals or look at profiles on the other side because well, I'm not looking for anyone. But usually when I'm extremely bored and I mean extreeeemely bored, I will click my way through profiles and read them and the journals. I think they are either stupid or funny in a way that's not a compliment to the person in the profile. I've yet to find a single one, except Master's, in all these years, that I find even a tiny bit interesting or even just a little likeable.

However, Master will get on my account from time to time just to fuck with people on the other side. BUT then I get all kinds of weird, weird emails from them after. <groan>. And yeah, he finds it hilarious. UGH.

I was extremely bored. I had checked all My mail, then came over here to the forums, went to facebook, then fetlife, and came back. So I guess I walked into the hunting territory during fin Domme season,lol.

I get it. You're trying to be logical with someone who is jaded and bitter. You've also been given a bad rap from the 20 year old girls who think being a Domme means you get to be a twat to everyone on the face of the planet.

I truly get it. I'm on a gun forum where there's a group of people that think Pat Robertson and Sarah Palin aren't far enough right. You can just watch their knees jerk them all over ridiculous places. (Hell, they think the vapor trail from planes are chemicals being sprayed to control the population)

It takes every ounce of will power I have to stay out of it.

Ok.......Time for a REAL glutton for punishment story.....

Years ago I was in quite a heavy masochistic mood. My Domme asked how I was feeling in the middle of impact play, I smiled and said, "I love you, you're so gentle."

I don't remember anything after that.
