CONFESSIONS and DIAGNOSIS!!!

No, I didn't rip off another thread, and no it doesn't belong in the Polls section.

This thread is about admitting the bad things you do on forums. Things you know you shouldn't do, but do anyway. Admit your forum foibles! And then diagnose yourself.

Try and stay in form please.

Confession:
I admit, I often lose interest in a thread if I post something with substance, and nobody replies to my point. Sometimes I'll skim through and then say F it and move on kinda pouty like.

Diagnosis:
Combination of insecurity and bloated self worth.

(tee hee, so many ways for you to approach this topic)

I admit I sometimes give attention-seeking trolls too much of my time because I can't resist telling them what I think.

Confession: I respond to idiotic posters and threads even though I know I should just keep my mouth shut and leave the thread because it's idiotic to even respond to them.

Diagnosis: I'm bored and when I'm bored I type too much.

Confession: i hardly ever post (except for the game threads) because i am so afraid someone "mean" will start an argument with me.

Diagnosis: Timid but very insightful....one of the few times i did post outside of a game thread someone "mean" did ridicule me! LOL

edited to add: but some very nice folks stuck up for me!

Karmastic I know that I often read intent into threads by posters based on their past opinions that are not in actuality posted. I am right of course...pompous but true ... but ... I deserve the criticism I get for doing it.

Confession #1: I block people who I think are socking in order to validate themselves.

Diagnosis: I jump to conclusions and may, at times, be unfairly blocking people who really are validating a particular post and are not socks.

Solution: It doesn't bother me, so I'm not going to change and if I miss a few gems along the way, the time I save more than makes up for the one or two gems that get passed by in the sands of the CM beach party.

Confession #2: I don't always follow the form the OP asks for when responding to posts.

Diagnosis: I'm a BitaTruble

Solution: Get used to it.
