Moonhead -> RE: Is There Imagination in BDSM? (6/12/2012 2:01:53 PM)

You're aware that a lot of people who used to be involved in wife swapping migrated into the fetish thing after the AIDS scare made casual sex with strangers less appealing for many?

Nope. No eltism aimed at those poor mundane vanillas who don't share your tastes at all, there.

You're not being a bit defensive because you've had plebeian vanilla sex recently, are you? I didn't figure you as a member of the hoi polloi, I must say.

Plebeian vanilla sex???!!! How very dare you... [;)][8D]

PeonForHer -> RE: Is There Imagination in BDSM? (6/12/2012 3:28:40 PM)

I was only trying to encourage Moonie, BHG. It's not right that he should feel that people look down on him because he's common.

[8D]

Fair enough, but never assume I ever have plebeian vanilla sex. I'm twue weal for that...

I'm sure that *you* don't, BHG. But I do feel that you may need to reassure poor Moonie about his culture, intelligence and imagination in the squelching department. In particular, be clear and firm that there is *nothing* wrong with his having a beard or halitosis.

bighappygoth39 -> RE: Is There Imagination in BDSM? (6/12/2012 5:11:25 PM)

He needs no reassurance on that one, Peon. After all, 'twas his infinite imagination that convinced me how purely purvy his beard and halitosis really are.
I just can't get enough of that hairy, smelly lovin', me... [;)]

You're aware that things happened a lot differently in this country than it did yours?

For over 18 months, the CDC never said a word about heterosexual contact.  All of the first reports were calling it GRID (Gay Related Immune Deficiency).  Reagen never called the disease AIDS during his term.  It was still a "gay disease" at that time.

No offense intended, but are you quite sure that you are not carrying over a contention from other threads?  Let it go.

Fair point.

Imagination and creativity are vital to a successful BDSM relationship.

Moonhead -> RE: Is There Imagination in BDSM? (6/14/2012 2:30:07 PM)

Yes, but I'd question that the same level is required as was needed to write The Martian Chronicles or come up with the theory of general relativity. The OP appears to feel that these involve the same intellectual investment as some designer at DeMask (who he can't name)'s latest creation...

ancellin -> RE: Is There Imagination in BDSM? (6/14/2012 3:02:46 PM)

I believe there is as much imagination is bdsm as there is in any other culture or sub-culture. The Dom today goes to work in the vanilla world tomorrow and he does not leave his imagination at home on a shelf, it naturally carries over into other areas of his life. A person's imagination is not restricted to just one facet of their life so therefore the amount of imagination used in bdsm would be the same as, or close to, the amount we find in every day life. We in the bdsm sub culture are perhaps freer in taking it from lurid imaginings into reality

mummyman321 -> RE: Is There Imagination in BDSM? (6/14/2012 5:00:20 PM)

Poor MH. No one in BDSM could ever be as creative as your beloved Ray B? Well I got new for you, there are creative people in BDSM.

And there you go putting words in my mouth again. Never did I say that anyone in BDSM was better than Ray B. What I did say is that creative minds and imagination has made BDSM great.

The only one in this thread who has tried to twist words and take things out of context is you. Actually you would make an excellent politician. Obama over here does need some help right now if you are looking for work.

Oh....the designers of DeMask are Louva & Anton Koot
The designers for Coocon use to be Keith and Moria Comfort but now taking over by Jamie Comfort
And I can continue name the designers for House of Wacks, Honour, Darkside Creations and more. Some I have even met. Meeting Keith and Moria Comfort was real treat. Nice to meet a couple who had a passion for rubber and created a very successful company out of thier passion.

Yes, you did. You just don't have the backbone to own doing so, which makes your snivelling about me twisting words look even more pitiful.

I will leave that up to the readers to decide what I said and what I did not say.

Mmmmmmm. My girls keep saying I am predictable... That would seem to indicate that I lack imagination and creativity..... I suppose our relationship is doomed then. But, after 22 years with Alandra and 7 years with Kyra... I have to wonder when this boring predictable relationship will end.

So what say you……Is there imagination in BDSM?

I think passion is the catalyst, and the topic, irrelevant.

Get in what you put out, eh.
