When I proposed 25 years ago, it made the local TV news, 2 newspapers and we ended up on 2 local talk shows....but I have to say, this proposal will NEVER be topped:

Wouldn't have worked in the UK. The weather would have chosen just that time to drop all the water in the sky on it.

I absolutely LOVED IT!!! Yeah, that was epic. It made me cry. It's so nice to see such happiness and joy and all the people they were able to involve in this and have fun at the same time. She's one lucky gal.

You know, for a moment after it was over I thought that. Then I thought... If 50% end up in divorce, trying something different can't hurt your odds.

I proposed to my first wife at a town meeting where I was applying for a permit to turn a barn into a condo. The town councilman asked me why I sought to develop the property. And I said "So I can marry her". And I looked at her and said "Say yes or I'm gonna get screwed on this permit".
