LMAO Im talking specifically about that BILL the Dems passed, does not differentiate for LGBT, Men/ Natives or illegals

glad you're easily amused - yes, so am i. and we're discussing the republican version that doesn't name specific classes of people to protect. did you forget that?

in the repub version, EVERYONE is covered, pursuant to the U.S. Constitution. did you forget that? did you forget you're asking to continue to name specific groups that are already covered (except illegal immigrants).

and re illegals, are you saying it's a good thing to automatically give amnesty to any illegal immigrant that cooperates with with LEA re prosecuting domestic abuse? dunno why that needs to be injected into it, over any other crime they report. as it stands now, most police will not involve the feds and immigration so victims won't be fearful of coming forward. that can still happen without injecting amnesty into the equation.

Yes, but that's a $59.95 Pay-Per-View event -- usually involving oil, or Jell-O.

opposed by conservative Republicans, who objected to extending the Act's protections to same-sex couples and to provisions allowing battered illegal immigrants to claim temporary visas.[5]

Well, yeah. Especially since same sex couples are already protected and that is just a political move during an election year (figuring Obama need all the help they can give him) and 2) the dovetailed attempt to give ILLEGAL immigrants temporary visas by claiming they have been battered probably did not sit too well with, well, with anyone who is not trying to use the bill for political reasons in an election year. Think? You see, one must think like a politician to figure out why things happen, it helps to understand also the Dems have nothing this year to stand on except stuff like this so they maximize their opportunities and I can't blame them but I also don't blame the GOP for knowing what they are doing.

So what do the GOP have to run on this year, just out of interest?
