Lockit -> RIP Donna Summer (5/17/2012 5:10:12 PM)

I owe her for one of the best memories of my life with the most romantic of men, I loved and always will... Forever a memory. Thank you!

I forgot how truly beautiful she was.

Here is a photo of her with her daughters. One from her first marriage and two from her second.

State Of Independence! Her best song ever. A loss for our planet.

*Donna Summers is the undisputed queen of Disco!!!*

Her music helped shape the 70's and 80's, and was soulful, playful,
and makes you want to move.

One of my favorite songs that Donna Summers sang was HER version of "MacArthur Park", the original version that I have on LP is about 16 minutes long, but here is a shorter version. { 7 minutes}
....someone left the cake out in the rain.........

MacArthur Park- Donna Summer

Donna, Donna, Donna----
Even though we have lost the Queen of Disco, her music will live on FOREVER.
Also, I think we need to celebrate Donna's life!
She has 3 BEAUTIFUL daughters, 4 lovely grandchildren, and a husband that seems devoted to her that she was married to for over 30 years.

She had fame and fortune, and a beautiful and loving family, that is rare in this day!
So I am going to go ahead and play Donna Summers- Bad Girl, and celebrate her wonderful life and the great music she gave us.

RIP Donna, it's time to sing and dance with the angels in heaven.

TOOT TOOT BEEP BEEP----time to dance!

Thank you Donna!

Here is what looks like a great tribute to Donna's music on you-tube---it has over 50 of her song/video's.

Damn, I have a feeling we need to dance all summer/Donna Summer.
I am already stuck in the 80's, I don't think I will come out.

Who could ever forget that cutting edge 'I feel love' with Gorgio Moroder that really put disco on the map?
