Dear Mods. I have a suggestion for a new sticky to either be put in "Community Discussions" or "Casual Banter"

Some of you people will recognize it from one of the other threads.

There needs to be an "Ask a Geezer" sticky.
I imagine the topics there could get quite interesting. Such things as "When I was your age, we didn't have any damn _________"

to "Kids, get outa my yard"

C'mon Mods, be a sport.

Why does it need to be a sticky? I find that making something a sticky almost guarantees it won't be read.

I'm afraid to ask on a site that deals with sexuality... but what is a sticky?

Oh, and Hill, if you're going to be an old geezer you've got to do it right. "Kids, get outta my yard," don't cut it. The proper phrasing is:

"GET OUTTA MY YARD YOU DAMN KIDS!"

Or, if you want to put a country twist to it:

"HEY! COME ON MY PROPERTY AGAIN AND I'LL SHOOT YER ASS!"

I'm still confused. There isn't anything that looks like sticky notes at the top of the forum. Off to the side there what look like sheets of paper with one corner folded. At the very top of the screen are the "file folder" tabs... but nothing that really looks like a sticky note.

Yup, remember my first pair of shoes, got em for my 50th birthday from the folks, one size 9 and one size 11 and both for the same foot, but they was some beauties....

Doggone it. Try this again.

My grandparents didn't have indoor plumbing until I was 15. We had to go out by the railroad tracks to use the outhouse and bathed in a big tub bucket in the kitchen. True story.

And by what stretch of the imagination does the word "Top" resemble a sticky note?

That coulda been rough if you had eaten too many fresh peaches and there was a freight train coming thru.

ETA, my bad, I thought ya said the outhouse was on the other side of the tracks. THAT woulda been a hardship.

Most of the time we didn't have television. When we did it was black and white. We never had cable television. I didn't have cable until 15 years ago.

We have two now. The spiffy new LED 47 incher I asked for, for Christmas, a year ago last..........and the 16 year old, 26 incher, that is sitting unused in the basement.

Right now we have no cable or dish hooked up (it's too nice outside to be sitting on our asses inside). It's DVDs or nothing.
