That's the mandatory premise. All the angels on one side, all the devils on the other.

I'd like to nominate that we do some rebranding away from terms like good and bad and toward term like incompetent and insane.

The truth of the matter is that politicians, regardless of stripe, work towards re-election, almost as soon as the results are in. There are few exceptions.

We all want the same end results. It's true. Does anyone truly want all grandma's wheeled off the cliff? No. No one does. Does anyone truly want someone else to go hungry? No. The only difference is in how we get there. One side wants more Government. The other wants less Government and more reliance on our selves.

Damn near anything goes in the battles between the political parties. It truly is quite disgusting.

This country is sinking faster than the Titanic, and a lot of this bipartisan bullshit bickering and finger pointing is reprehensible.

I think I am able to avoid about 90% of that shit on these boards Rich.
After a while it just gets boring.

Intelligent people can see that both sides are part of the problem, and both political parties share PLENTY of the blame.

At this point, we should care more about saving/salvaging this country before we start looking like a 3rd or 4th world country.

NO....................... Americans Good, those attempting to drive a wedge and not work to manifest a compromised, stronger and in general greater good FOR ALL, B-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-d.

And I know, greater good is indeed a matter of perspective, but this petty bickering and unending finger-pointing we have going now sure is making the grade.

I'm not so sure one having a "D" or an "R" after one's name means much these days?!!  I think the vast majority on BOTH SIDES suck, and are more concerned about themselves than the people they serve. (shrugs)

That............

I prefer a lot less government, no matter the flavor. I think my best chance at success is in my own hands.

So under your plan, we would be rebranding good as incompetent and bad as insane?

That seems fair.

K.

The end must be near, I agreed with you again!
Run to your bunkers!

I vote D, cause the R's are just too scary for me, but I blame both sides of the aisle for many of the wrongs that are going on in America.

The climate is ripe for a new political party these days!
I think many people would welcome a 3rd party that could be a contender.
