NoviceSubz -> Finding myself (5/4/2012 9:09:35 AM)

Hello All,

I think my username and subject title is self explanatory and a good indication as to why I'm here

I'm mainly on here to familiarise myself about this world, and find out as much information as I can. In the short time I have been on here, I have been contacted by some very nice seeming people and some rather alarming ones[sm=hellno.gif], which is why my profile is as strong as I can make it without trying to offend anyone.

Nice to meet you all [;)]

Welcome to CM.

You're female & new to the site so your name appears on the radar of a lot of "unsavory characters" trying to take advantage of a newbie. You've already figured out that part, so I'd say you're doing very well, so far. It may take some time to sift through the pages of mail you'll get daily (at least until you no longer show up as a new user) but patience can be rewarded.

Have fun, stick around the boards here and don't be a stranger!!!

Thank you - much appreciated [;)]

Hi there and welcome. Th mail controls are your friend. You can easily weed out mail that you don't want and send it to bulk. Also, and this is My favorite one, the block and hide buttons are a gem. This side of CM is better as far as learning and discussion, the other side is for searching and wading through the bullshit, lol. Good luck in your searches and do come back. We enjoy new people.

Welcome NS! I hope you enjoy your time here. Block, hide and delete will help immensely with that!

Welcome to the discussion side of CM, Novice.

Mostly, it's much less icky here.

YYYYYYYYYAAAAAaaaaa you, keep up with having high standards, that *will* serve you well.

BTW, if I can make a suggestion (like you can stop me), I would delete all that negative stuff in the beginning of your profile. It will turn the good guys off, and the bad ones don't bother to read profiles.

Just a suggestion. It *does* leaves more room to include more about who you are.

Best, CP

Thanks for all the warm welcome and advice all. CP, I'll defininately have a look and see if I can revise it or something. However, It didn't stop some nice people contacting me [;)]

Welcome

Good luck with it.... it's always great to find yourself. The important thing is- having found yourself- to not lose yourself again for fear of what others may think of you. The great thing about this place is that you've got people to share with and that helps a lot more than you know.
