Greetings,
I was fortunate to be in a 13 year marriage with a very eager and open minded woman, and some of our hottest times were in the area of D/S, with me as the D. Unfortunately I lost her to ovarian cancer late last year. I wouldn't say we had a BDSM relationship, we had a loving marriage that happened to include that, especially in the later years.
I'm nowhere near ready to commit to someone new at this time for a number of reasons; emotional, schedule, and a real need to live as an independent person for a significant period of time. I am dating casually but honestly focusing on many other things right now. I'm happy to spend time with women of more "conventional" tastes, but when I do settle down again it will have to be with someone very sexually open minded, who is looking to be with an Alpha male.
I'm fortunate that I've never felt ashamed or discriminated against for my sexuality, so I've never felt the need to seek acceptance from others, or a group of others, but I am also happy that support exists for those who weren't as fortunate. However, I do lead a fairly public life (entertainment etc.) and that life is likely to get even more public in the future, so I may eventually decide to pixelate my face on my profile. For now I will leave things as they are.
