Happy holidays, everyone.

I have been bribed with plenty of chocolate and jelly beans from the kiddos while they were taking inventory. I got my secret stash of solid chocolate bunnies in the kitchen.

Here's what was served for Easter brunch today -

Bagels and cream cheese
Eggs strata
Bacon-wrapped dates
Baked stuffed French toast
Belgian waffle sundaes
Fresh fruit
Bacon
Spinach artichoke bread
Deviled eggs

Oh...AND....I finally had to break it to my daughter today about the Easter bunny. (She asked!) She cried like a baby in my lap. :(

My favorite Easter story is when I was about 11, we spent Easter at my grandmother's ranch, near the Hole-in-the-Wall in Wyoming. We were doing an Easter egg hunt, and whenever we reached in some rocky cranny for an egg, my mom would yell, "Watch out for rattlesnakes!". It was the scariest Easter egg hunt ever.
