I know....this (the following) kind of comports with previous comments but....gawdamn you women really do have shit locked up.

Now I'm gonna ask a basic question....because there's all this shit in the papers about women not earning equal amounts....getting stepped on....glass ceiling....all that shit....

So tell me....you really do have it kind of locked...you control the pussy.....so how does it feel to be a woman...."in a mans world"....you really do control the whole damn thing so.....what's the fucking beef?

You really do control the game.....do you feel otherwise?

I blame myself.

LookieNoNookie -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/5/2012 7:34:45 PM)

But seriously.....why do women feel like they're second class (forget about the Domme shit)....how's come you all feel like you're supporting staff?

Iamsemisweet -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/5/2012 7:40:26 PM)

Cause we get treated that way, god damn it. The men at my office do treat me like supporting staff. Assholes.

littlewonder -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/5/2012 8:03:54 PM)

The only person or thing I control is me, even with a Master. I don't feel as if I'm a woman in a man's world.I feel I am a person in a person's world.

When I hear someone say that women are the one's in control ultimately in the world I usually think they must be bitter or angry or have some kind of mother complex.

Oh, and I never ever have felt I was second class. Even when I worked I never had anyone treat me that way except my female boss and that's only because we didn't like each other one tiny bit.

But you own all the pussy!

MissImmortalPain -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/6/2012 6:22:31 AM)

I was not aware it was a "mans world" and I have never felt like a second class citizen. Though I do (again) have to agree with littlewonder in that the only time I have had someone try to make me feel like one it was another woman and she only did it because she knew if I wanted it I could have her job.

Iamsemisweet -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/6/2012 6:50:57 AM)

Interesting, I love working with other women. I don't really feel like a second class citizen, despite my male co workers attempts. I am a better lawyer, better person and more respected in the community then they will ever be. And they know it.

My female friends say they would 10 times more rather work with men than women.

Ya know, the funny thing is...every male AND female employer worth their salt knows that (barring lifting 100 lb sacks of cement) female works 30% harder than any male.

Why this topic keeps coming up over the centuries is stunning to me.

It ain't men keeping you women down...it's you.

Ask for a raise and when the boss says no....tell him you have a better offer.

Women don't ask for raises.

Men do.

And men walk when they don't get it (or respect, etc.).

Stop LETTING someone else determine your future. It's YOUR future!

kitkat105 -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/9/2012 9:07:23 PM)

I don't feel it, but I'm lucky enough to be a nurse (female dominated industry) in Australia that has pretty awesome workers rights. I can imagine it does happen in other industry though.

KMsAngel -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/10/2012 12:17:57 AM)

workers rights here in aus far outstrip those of the states, kitkat. and the wages we get, despite the taxes we pay are pretty phenomenal too. i worked in community care for the aged and we hired at a starting wage of $19, going up to $25 an hour for experienced workers (ranging from domestic work to personal care). the same job in the states in tennessee? $7/hr. and most of the government money went towards nursing homes rather than community care.

i'm vy grateful to be living over here in these times.

kallisto -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/10/2012 5:20:47 PM)

It's kind of wierd ... I do not (repeat do NOT) like to work for a woman, yet ... my female staff love working for me. My staff tell me all the time that I'm the best boss they've ever worked for. I never want to be that "female boss" that no other woman wants to work for.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Just looking around.... (4/10/2012 5:24:30 PM)

I have worked in a few snake pits, but overall , women win every time.
