warlock1935 -> RE: cuffs and chains (4/2/2012 1:26:26 AM)

Like a lot of Doms, in my House my submissives aren't allowed to wear clothes, only wrist & ankle cuffs & collar. In the past, I've usually left the cuffs unconnected except when I was playing with her and when I put her to bed. Now, in bed, my submissives have always had their wrist cuffs connected together. Usually that's in front, then leashed to the headboard with a 6" to 16" chain. Sometimes her hands are cuffed behind her, and then her collar's leashed to the headboard; sometimes her ankles are cuffed together and leashed to the footboard. Note, though, some submissives have trouble sleeping that way. Friends of mine keep their girls naked but without cuffs, but in bed lock one ankle to a chain attached to the bed. Length of the chain varies. With my last 24/7 slave, princess, I changed the rule to have her wrists cuffed together in front, usually with a 12" chain, all the time unless we were going out or she needed her hands, for example to take a shower. It worked out great; she got used to serving me that way really quickly and enjoyed it for the five months we were together. I also have two sets of Kajira chains; for those who don't already know, that setup has locking wrist and ankle cuffs, waist chain, and collar; there's a vertical chain that locks to a ring on the collar, and drops in front or behind, through a ring on the waist chain, to end in a ring just below her knees. Her ankles are connected with an anklechain that's a couple of inches less than her normal stride, usually about 2', and it runs from one ankle up and through the ring at the lower end of the vertical chain, then to the other ankle; that keeps the anklechain mostly off the floor, preventing tripping and toes getting caught in the chain. The wristchain runs through the ring on the waist chain. My sets are made with a chain for the collar and cuff, lined with leather for comfort. That way, she can't get them off without the key or power tools. Cutting through the leather doesn't work. If I want minimal restriction, I have the vertical chain and her cuffs in front, with relatively long connecting chains - (less than 2', usually). She can do most things, and walk easily with practice, but not run. If she wants to reach forward, she has to reach out with one hand while holding the other hand against the ring in the waist chain that the wristchain goes through; she can't reach out more than a foot with both hands. If I want them more restrictive, I run the vertical chain down her back, so her cuffs are behind her back, and/or shorten the anklechain to a foot or less. What I usually use is a 2' wristchain; to make it more restrictive I just double it up, making it a one' foot chain (the wristchain locks to her left wrist, goes through the ring on the waist chain, then the midpoint of the wristchain locks to her right cuff; the rest of the wristchain then goes back through the ring to lock on her left wrist. I can also triple it up, or just use a 6" chain. I can do the same thing with her ankles; I can also run her wristchain through the ring on the neck chain(collar), or lock her directly wrists to the waist chain ring. I can make her completely helpless in a variety of ways, for example: Shorten the vertical chain by half, so she can't stand up; Lock her wrists directly to her ankles; Lock her wrists directly to the waist chain, and lock her ankles directly together; Lock her wrists directly to the neck chain; The possibilities are endless
