He is pathetic. Using a tragedy to score political points. What a load of crap.

I suppose Rick Santorum is equally pathetic, using the same traagedy to make political points:

Houston Chronicle

quote:

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum says the shooting of an unarmed teenager in an Orlando, Fla., suburb was "horrible" and that the case is, in his words, a "chilling example of the horrible decisions made by people in this process."

Seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin was fatally shot Feb. 26 while walking through a neighborhood in the suburb of Sanford....

Said Santorum: "Stand your ground is not doing what this man did."

Waiting for your post - condemning GOP Presidential contender Rick Santorum for doing the same thing the President did...just as you condemned the President.

Though I suspect hell will freeze over first before you would condemn a Republican for doing the same thing you condemn a Democrat for doing...

I will condemn Santorum.

He has no frickin' place, as a national political figure trying and convicting the suspect in this case.

He is over-stepping his authority in a very dangerous way and the fact that it's probably a matter of political opportunism lends and element of prostitution to the argument.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Actually, 766.041 is very clear that the aggressor doesn't have the protection of 766.013 at all unless VERY specific conditions are met ( which the facts in this case do not satisfy )

So, we're left with a garden variety Manslaughter case. Which the Sanford PD fucked up so bad, you can only assume a conspiracy to obstruct justice.
