I made an erroneous assumption and ended up with 50% but never would have managed 100%.

Rather thought-provoking.

Hitler (or the Nazi Party itself??) campaigned on the Womens' Sphere being, "Children, Church, and Kitchen", although I don't know what order they were.

Hmmm... 80% for me. Problem is, most of those quotes could go either way.

Viking I'm not sure what you mean, but the point was, they are pretty interchangable.

All fun aside, it's scary to think I live in a country where Santorum is a viable candidate for the presidency.

Switch the latter two. In Deutschesprache:

"Kinder, Küche, Kirche."

Has a better ring (for the purpose) in the native language. Working from inner to outer society. I got that one wrong because of Hitler's known personal ambivalence towards religion. The particular translation of the foreign language can be a stumbling block for this test, being that several literal or meaning of intent interpretations are possible. I only got the 80% that I did from ascribing the more dumbed down language to Santorum. Hitler was one seriously miserable bastard, but he was actually fairly well spoken in r/l given by the few rare private conversations recorded. His one book and all his public speaches were intentionally speaking down to the intended audience; the miserable, the losers, much like Limbaugh and Santorum do, except that in their case they are in fact speaking at their own level.

But you knew that the umlaut o was the proper spelling of schöne. You can go searching on internet and find various ways to copy/paste properly spelled German words.

The a, o, and u umlauts (ä, ö, und ü), are also available in Microsoft Word, if you have that. In that case look to the upper left and click on "insert," then look to the upper right where it says "Symbol," click that, then click the bottom where it says "more symbols." Now you can scroll through and find whatever you want. I have what I need from that copy/pasted to Notebook, which is then residing in the start-up menu.

The other thing to know is that the three umlaut letters can be spelled plain, but  with an "e" following immediately for the same purpose and for the same good pronunciation. The ä or ae are pronounced as the English "e," as in "eh," and the eu or äu are pronounced as the English "oi"or "oy," hence the pronunciation of Freud. Goethe or Göthe would be pronounced alike, not that many English speakers know the pronunciation. Likewise Müller or Mueller.

Freud could be spelled "Fräud" and sound the same way, once understanding that the eu and äu are both sounded as the English 'oi' or 'boy.' Beolingus is a good site for simple translation, though remember to look up to the top left and refine search to EN>DE it that's what you want, DE>EN being the default.

I got 60%, but then I did answer them all as Santorum.
(It's a bit distressing that the more sane sounding comments tended to be the Austrian monorchid, not him...)

"if that's what you want being the intention, this site having preventive measures against editing beyond 30 minutes, that situation as foundation to the administrators' befuddlement at having to pull so many posts.

I gave Santorum too much credit but in fairness have to say that one of the question threw me because of my knowledge of history actually. Hitler didn't marry Eva Braun until about 40 hours before they committed suicide, so the reference to a 'mother-in-law' I did attribute to Santorum as Hitler only had a mother-in-law for a short time period. My bad, so 70% is my score.
