Hi Hypno,
Welcome aboard. I have only been here a short time myself, but so far everyone seems very helpful and there are a lot of great resources here. You should consider just skimming through all the boards and also do some searches. Much of what you probably want to ask has already been answered in some fashion.
Also, maybe start working on a Journal as I (and my wife, who is my slave) find it a great way to get feelings out there. It's helpful to get your feelings out in some way, even if you end up the only one reading it! [;)]
