Collarme offers you a great way to handle messages you do not wish to receive. Use the block and delete features and the message is gone and you will never get another message from that user name. It is simple. How does a web site "verify" their users? Do they make personal calls to their homes and get to know them? How can they be sure that the user is not lying about marital status? How can they be sure the user is not lying about experience? I would take any online verification with a grain of salt.
