The search feature here is your friend, try to get acquainted, ok?

This is the internet.......use your common sense. For every fake out there, there is at least one person who falls for whatever they are selling. As long as the supply lasts, they aren't going away.

what say you???

Imo, how you deal with that (and the various other minor annoyances in life) tells me a lot about you. jmo..

CRYPTICLXVI -> RE: FAKES (3/6/2012 12:40:21 PM)

I think this thread is a fake of the "Fake" thread from last week.

Collarme offers you a great way to handle messages you do not wish to receive. Use the block and delete features and the message is gone and you will never get another message from that user name. It is simple.

How does a web site "verify" their users? Do they make personal calls to their homes and get to know them? How can they be sure that the user is not lying about marital status? How can they be sure the user is not lying about experience? I would take any online verification with a grain of salt.

You mean those two zombie bunnies that showed up to my house and interviewed me weren't really from "Collar Me"?
How could I have been so stupid as to give them my bank information and allow them to eat brains in the living room?

You were feeling a mite guilty about your low scores in Call of Duty Black Ops?

Or am I completely missing the point?

Block.  Delete.  It's a beautiful thing.

A good policy I think, as I also see a number of people basically abandoning the site because they're sick of being accused of being fakes, so the fake hunters are a problem too. Caveat emptor.
