In a weirdly edited video, race car driver Danica Patrick was asked about the birth control mandate in the Affordable Healthcare Act. Because, I guess by being part of a sport where few women have ventured, she’s representative of all women?

"In the video, she was asked, “As a Catholic, what do you think of Obama’s new rule that would make companies provide birth control?”

Her supposed answer, after a jumpy edit, was, “I leave it up to the government to make good decisions for Americans.”

Yeah, I’m more than just a little dubious of this video. First there was the suspicious edit, but even more importantly, the answer doesn’t fit the question. It simply sounds like she was parroting back some sort of right wing projection of what they think a liberal would say. If she did actually say those words, she is certainly not speaking for me, or for any liberal I know."

Perhaps she was mulling what was the safe step vis a vis her sponsors,I mean what sort of intelligent person claims to "leave it to the government...."
Seriously what evidence would you point to in order to support that point?

And do the Jews and Muslims have their own respective Race Teams?

Would be awesome to have a big Arab/Jewish desert race, even if it didn't decide anything it would probably let folks get rid of some tension on something other than missiles...

Dude ... If you avoided Talladega Nights just because it's a cheeseball title ... trust me... It's worth it Just for Sasha Baron Cohen's part alone... but there is some other massive gems in the film
Oh, and it will give you loads of new material to discuss with posters here on CM

Not really. NASCAR has never really interested me that much because I just don't see the appeal of watching cars drive around in circles. If I want to see that all I have to do is go watch the parking lot of the supermarket down the street from the retirement community.

Danica, on the other hand, does appeal to me very much. What red blooded Dom wouldn't want that babe strung up naked before him while he decides, hmmm... the strap? The paddle? The cat o' nine tails?

I tried to watch "Talladega Nights - The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby" because an old Army buddy of mine was in it (Jack Blessing - he play the role of "Jarvis") - but still turned off the DVD before it was finished and returned it to the town library.

One of the worst movies I've tried to watch since Orson Welles and Tom Smothers of the Smothers Brothers in "Get To Know Your Rabbit" (1972) - in that instance, I walked out of the theater about 25 minutes into the movie.

Status: offline 		There are some movies not worth watching. There are a list of actors that tell me, the movie is not something I want to watch. I can pretty much guaranfuckintee, if Will Ferrell is in it, I don't want to see it.

As for Danica and catching her, I think it would have been fairly easy the other day.

I work with a bunch of Nascar fans.....it's some sort of illness I believe. The shit bores me to tears.......round and round we goooooooo!

And who cares what some race car driver thinks about birth control....seriously?!?!?
