This has been a huge case in Colorado. The sentence that jumped out at me was "Farries wore a T-shirt emblazoned with "Only God Can Judge Me!!!" NOT a good choice, IMO.

I remember that, Steven, and it was just a matter of maybe 4 miles from me. I read how so many people in vehicles honked, waved, yelled, pointed to, and tried to alert her she was dragging him, but that she just kept going. Tragic.

I'm surprised the defense didn't try getting her declared unfit for trial with that. Right up there with wearing a "I did it for the nookie" tee to a solicitation charge. I did see an amusing display windows at a tee shop once.. Right next to one of those "Only God Can Judge Me" tees, they placed one that said "Yes, God WILL Judge You." followed by subscript "So you're pretty much f***ed!"

Tragic. I'd never heard about this case before now but the fact this woman wore such a tee tells me she has some entitlement issues and feels as if she did nothing what so ever wrong. I hope the judge remembers that shirt when he passes down his sentence and teaches her that society has the right to judge her as well.

Um, Aswad, I wouldn't put it past her to have some friends bust her mirrors while she awaited trial.

I read that story on my YH page. The article didn't mention that she'd driven the vehicle off the flatbed, just that she drove it away.....there appeared to be some confusion about the actual circumstances. Either way, I hope her ass ends up in jail for the max on the one charge, which I read was 24 years. Anyone with the much blatant disregard for human life doesn't deserve to be walking free. And I hope the family of the driver sues her civilly for anything and everything they can get, including the vehicle!

s2s did say the max for the one charge was 2, not anything about concurrent or sequential, although it was mentioned in the article that they _could_ be concurrent. Given her apparent lack of any remorse or indication that she even recognizes she did anything dreadfully wrong, I'm betting on her next tee being "I'm Bubbettes Bitch" for the next 40-50, too

Yeah, I meant that the longest charge is the 24 years, but I hope the judge tacks on ALL the time amd makes it run consecutive, not concurrent. ANd I hope her fellow inmates keep up with the news and makes sure she suffers daily......I'm not usually a vindictive person in this manner, but I'm sorry....that's one person that's just taking up too much oxygen and space.
