If you "celebrate" the Superbowl, what are you eating?

I'm relaxing my standards tomorrow and serving the following, which sounds bizarre but are actually quite good:

Cocktail Meatballs

Ingredients:

14-ounce Grape Jelly
1 12-ounce bottle Heinz® Chili Sauce
1 2-pound bag frozen, pre-cooked, cocktail-size meatballs
Directions:

Combine sauces in a large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Add meatballs. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally.

Makes 30 appetizer servings.

Slow cooker Preparation: Place meatballs in a slow cooker. Combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 4 hours on HIGH.

----------

M is also picking up chicken wings tomorrow and whatever strikes his fancy at the supermarket today. Our supermarkets having been gearing up for this for a week with samples and sales.

Not doing wings this year. I have frozen chicken tenders to be served with barbecue and sweet & sour sauce. Doing ribs in barbecue sauce, but probably in the oven as I don't want to be outside in the cold standing by the grill in the dark.

Lots of raw vegetables to go with a ranch dip. Cheese, pepperoni and crackers. Also pretzels and potato chips.

Oh hush NS.
GO GIANTS!!!!!

I'll be making wings and I like the meatball idea. Just me and the girls home to watch the game.
I'll be having Mad Elf Ale and they'll be having True Moo.

Aileen and Mad Elf Ale.......I just love that!

Most of the game I will be watching by myself. Sadly, no munchie plans. I don't even have any good vino in the house.

does it matter what you are eating just so long as there is a mountain of it?

All we have so far is half of a good bottle of champagne (left over from last night) and a bottle of conundrum wine I've been holding onto for several weeks now.
Oh! and the fancy desserts we didn't eat last night!
Oh! And 9/10ths of a HUGE portion of lasagna. Yummy!!
