Very good, but I think they could have easily taken it along for another few steps, to figure out what flavor of Christian would be most appropriate.

Gnostic here, in your face, flowcharts, and the demiurge, and not killing yourself in the name of jumping onboard a spaceship that supposedly only looks like a comet.

This is another summary which reminds me of a t-shirt I used to have years ago that covered the same topic.

I like the top philosophy best. No mention of agnosticism which could be described as "shit might happen... maybe... or maybe not."

What? No credit given to the Irish for it's creation along with all the world's other significant documents?

Apologies, I'm sure the Irish did write it along with all the world's other significant documents, as you suggest! Never let it be said I haven't ever deferred to your sources of knowledge!

Dude you better start on the exit plan I know of a 1/2 dozen people right now who are getting to the "Underwear is magical" decision and getting majorly pissed off

Save them the trouble of major spiritual betrayal and disappointment.

There are so many--that would be another entire chart.

what hummus has to do with anything, or bacon

Well, bacon is from an unclean animal.

Orthodox followers of Christianity, Judaism and Islam will refrain from eating it. Less orthodox followers may decide that they've adequately addressed the reasons for that dietary law. Most have just chosen quite arbitrarily to ignore it. As a rule, if they oppose gay marriage, any pork they eat is simply hypocrisy. Use of mixed fabrics, seafoods... a lot of people these days are too concerned with straightness to find the time to keep their facts straight, and so just behave as their culture does while pretending to be affiliated with a religion.

Hummus is a traditional Arab dish that a lot of Muslims don't eat at all, because it's not very widespread outside Arab cultures, unlike Islam. However, one cluster of Arab bloodlines, called Jews, has a country, called Israel, where hummus is consumed in much greater quantities than in the rest of the Arab world. It wasn't unheard of, during the intifadas, for an Israeli to go behind enemy lines to get a decent hummus. I imagine that is less of a problem now that they're producing, importing and exporting more of the stuff than anyone else.

No doubt some U.S. soldiers would've gone for pizza in Italy under Mussolini. Same thing.

Good dishes are usually best made by the hands that came up with them. Timing, temperature, balance of spices and other ingredients, local environment, flora, and so forth. They influence the outcome, making for those distinctive differences that are so enticing when the cuisine has been left a bit on the bland side for a while. And, often, the places that have been polishing a particular dish for a few centuries have got something of a leg up on the rest.

Which makes me wonder if cinnamon bark will absorb well if mortared with garlic shavings...

Health,
al-Aswad.

Just my opinion and my taste, ashor, but you ain't lived 'till you've experinced the great joy of sitting on a blanket at an outdoor concert in the park and eating a falafel sandwich while listening to a good Klezmer band on the stage.

Interesting that in the 9th century, Vladimir meet with representatives of several religions. He eliminated Muslim and Buddhist ones because they prohibited alcohol, and he reasoned this would never fly with Russians.
