Status: offline 		I have been asked as to why I consider myself a slave and not a sub ( yeah I know my user name says otherwise)

My reasoning is I don't have a natural submissive nature but I like to be MADE to serve my owner and wear my collar 24/7.

How do you differentiate between the 2?

Status: offline 		I would have thought slave was a subset of submissive (i.e., all slaves are submissive, but not all submissives are slaves). My perspective, but I'm sure others might have a different perspective.

Beyond that, some subs have less freedom than some slaves. There is not one true definition. You get to pick whatever label gives you a thrill.

How you designate yourself in a relationship is not nearly as important as how you participate in it. Just be you, and ignore all the bullshit. If the person asking doesnt like your answer it's not the end of the world.

Status: offline 		I prefere to be called a food item. Muffin, pumpkin, rotten apple, you get the idea. I feel neither sub, nor slave has any context to me, but in the context of a sub SANDWICH that might be okay. I await the day someone calls me a grapefruit or a kumquat.

Yeah, I definitely feel you on this. I guess it's just that I'm so horrified about real-life non-consensual slavery that I couldn't call myself a slave without feeling like I was somehow disrespecting victims of sex trafficking and forced labor. Which I know is kind of ridiculous and just my bleeding-heart liberalism getting the better of me. I'm not judging anyone who chooses to use the term slave in their own consensual relationship, this is just a me thing.
