I used the search function for the first time ever to find this thread...I have a bitch about Apple and I am determined to air it. Seems my barely 3 week iPhone had a glitch today,it decided volume was not available sans ear plugs.Worked fine with plugs in,without plugs no music...all other sounds were working. Okay maybe I hit something and screwed up the settings,the good folks at Verizon could not undo it,they suggested going to the Apple store 4 towns over.... I decided to call Apple customer support,genius that I am...got a helpful fellow who listened to my issue and transferred me to technical support, where I was promptly advised that for 59.95 thye could talk me right thru a fix.... I informed them that the phone was less than a month old,they told me I was free to take the unit to the Apple store where they would confiscate my phone for 2 or 3 days while they fixed it(obvious scare bullshit tactic) or for,again,59.95 they could get me up and running ! I told the "gentleman" in unmistakable language just what I thought of there support...and hung up 30 minutes later this 59.95 problem had self corrected,I'm thinking a simple glitch,no problem at all...save for the experience I had with Apple and the way they do business. I will never again buy an apple product. Fuck them
