Hillwilliam -> RE: Perry out (1/19/2012 12:20:39 PM)

You left of center folks might want to pull for Newt or Santorum. Neither can beat Obama.

OTOH, Mittens has a good shot.

Take it from someone that had him as his governor for a term: He's a political slut (say anything and do anything to get elected). I find it amusing that conservatives keep saying Mr. Obama lies to America and then give Mr. Romney a free 'scrutiny pass' on the whole topic of truth and honesty. Its even more amusing when you consider conservatives want 'honest' and 'good' goverment, but keep voting in people like Mr. Romney to office. They are like young women drawn to bad men who in turn beat them viciously; they just cant accept the idea of checking the information and facts and taking a 'reality check'. Mr. Romney lied about being a liberal sort of guy, just as he's lying about being a conservative. If he's willing to lie about his political viewpoint, what else is he willing to lie about to get your vote?

As far as this idiot beating Mr. Obama is laughable.

Why do you think that 3/4 of the Republican voters simply don't want to vote for Mitt?

Joether, and just who's going to vote for President Pantload, The Seniors? The Veterans?, The Independents? Young people just out of college who can't find jobs? Young people period? People in the medical professions who stand to lose 1/3 of their incomes?

So Perry endorsed Newt? Wow, he really is a dope!

Firm, just pure opinion here. I don't think it's the voters that dont like Mitt so much as the RNC.

Dunno, Hill.  I think it's the RNC that has been backing Mitt from the get-go.  He's their man.

I think the Bain incident has hurt Romney in SC.. badly.

popeye1250 -> RE: Perry out (1/19/2012 10:01:33 PM)

OK, if you were going to take a one third pay cut because of "Obama Care" and you were a Nurse would you vote for him?
If the Teamsters Union were going to take a one third cut in their pay because of Obama do you think they'd vote for him?
It's just common sense, you don't vote for someone who
's going to hurt you financially. But you already knew that right?

("adress the question", I like that.)

tazzygirl -> RE: Perry out (1/19/2012 10:20:26 PM)

You will have to show me something that says it will be 1/3.

No, no, no, I already adressed the question.

tweakabelle -> RE: Perry out (1/20/2012 5:16:04 AM)

Perry has a future as an author in the field of pop psychology IMHO.

Who else has got such demonstrated skill, insight and practical experience on "How Not to Win Over Voters, and Fail to Influence People"? It could start a whole new genre of 'self-destruct books'. Guest intros by Bachmann and Cain would guarantee a best seller.

It goes without saying that he'd need a ghost writer. I'm told there's a failed hack called Beck looking for a new gig .........
