The real question is how much they will cost in living room window sizes.
For anyone that can't wait, there's nothing wrong with yanking the panel from a computer monitor and gluing it to a window with a couple of drops of index matcher. Move the CCFL so it illuminates the window instead of the panel. If you search around, it's probably possible to find some with edge connectors, in which case they will stack seamlessly (almost, at least). And the electronics live happily inside the window sill/frame if it's moisture proofed. Geek cred for homemakers of any gender and persuasion. With a very friendly spouse, you might even be allowed to bring it to Maker Faire or something to show off the coolness of your work.
Home improvement doesn't have to mean buying ready made products.
