It doesn't look good for people not named Mitt.

Jon Stewart on the GOP Field: 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Wealthy'

Jon Stewart took a shot at all of those 99 percent of the 1 percent fellow GOP presidential contenders of Mitt Romney who are now terribly upset with his Super PAC ads and calling him out for being a rich guy who's out of touch with the working class.

STEWART: Oh, it's not fair. He's using unlimited money to buy influence. Rigging the system in some way. Interesting. I can't imagine how frustrated and helpless you Newt Gingrich must feel. Hey, how did guys like Mitt Romney come to be anyway? [...]

You're mad at Mitt Romney? But that's like saying... it's like saying Mitt Romney answered the eHarmony ad and now you're saying it's unfair. That it's not what you meant and you don't mean it that much. Mitt Romney is the pure distillation of conservative economic policies. But now that you have to go up against him, now it's unfair? Republicans, you can't say, release the kraken and then when the kraken turns on you, be all like... that's a very scary kraken.

NYT is giving Romney a 99% chance of win in NH: http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/01/10/new-hampshire-primary-overview-and-forecast/

Paul is shooting for legitimacy and it looks like he'll get it.  Huntsman desperately needs a high finish.  Santorum needs to show he's about more than Iowa.

Gingrich is looking like he can absorb funds indefinitely without results.

Indeedies Lucy! Do a quick check list of the worst behavioural traits commonly associated with males - avarice, megalomania, predatory sexual behaviour, callous indifference towards loved ones, cynical hypocrisy, infinite ego, boundless ambition, duplicity, extreme selfishness, ruthlessness and so on ......

Newt gets a tick in every box.

popeye1250 -> RE: New Hampshire polls (1/10/2012 7:07:08 PM)

Well, my sister who lives in New Hampshire was absolutely right when I talked to her a few weeks ago!
She said all the young people (like my nephew and neice, 24, 21) up there were going for Romney and Paul because there's no jobs there.
Evidently, heh, heh, my nephew doesn't want to talk about Oblunder anymore and why would he.
Boy, Oblunder is going to get ***CREAMED*** in November.

tazzygirl -> RE: New Hampshire polls (1/10/2012 7:09:01 PM)

I keep offering the bet. You keep avoiding it. You must not be all that sure. [;)]

From your lips to gods ears, right pops?
Lol...too funny.

DarkSteven -> RE: New Hampshire polls (1/10/2012 7:45:51 PM)

Romney won, but he's nowhere near getting a majority of votes cast.
Paul's setting himself up as a solid alternative.
Huntsman's third place and rising is bad news for Romney.  I suspect that Huntsman's support is carved out of Romney's base.
Gingrich and Santorum have 10% each.  Perry's only at 1%.  Surprising that no "true conservatives" are polling well.  If their support is going over to Paul, he may well defeat Romney.

Perry's gotta drop out.  His showing is pathetic.

Not news for me Hill. I agree with you. Women (and everyone else) are just as capable of bad or malicious behaviour as men. That's why I used the formulation "commonly associated with males" and not something more direct.

I should add that though women are just as capable they tend to be less likely to actually engage in these behaviours
