I find it amazing that a site such as this should allow users to use someone else's photos, when there is OBVIOUS proof to whom that photo belongs !

if they are your photos being used, contact support to report it.

They don't allow it. You have to remember that these people work round the clock picking up complaints and dealing with them. They can't just accept a mail saying, 'that picture on that profile isn't them'. If they did then we would be seeing a lot more vindictive tit for tat profile complaints going on here.
If the picture is of you then you need to follow their instructions of how to prove that. If the picture is of someone you know then you should let the other person know. If its just a picture stolen off the internet there is little you can do except move on and don't worry about it.

Contact your friend and have her prove those are her pictures. It takes about a day or so.

Exactly. What if I wrote to the site admin and said gungadin is using my picture? Do you think they should take my word for it?
When put like that it sounds ridiculous doesn't it? It makes it possible for anyone to claim something that isn't theres.
Let Margi know that her photo has been stolen and all she has to do is send them a picture of herself as proof.

Absolutely correct. The site should be able to identify if photos are original or if they've been posted already somewhere on the Internet. However, the technology for this does not yet exist, and the manpower for scouring the Internet preemptively does not exist either. So this site must rely on people reporting unauthorized use of photos.

I use a clever trick. I post butt ugly pics of myself that are theft-resistant.

In any court here in the U.S., if someone is accused, the burden of proof is on the accuser. To require that the accused should have to prove that they DIDN'T commit the infraction just doesn't fly.

Are you sure its not her actual profile on CM? Did she tell you it wasn't? The profile is looking for real life interaction with a possible long term relationship with another dominant. She isn't asking for money or online interaction. So if someone wants to meet in real life they are more likely to not steal pics.

Ok, well I contacted the "friend" in question and let her know this discussion was taking place. At least now she'll have the opportunity to ask that they be taken down if they really do belong to her.

This is so strange, if I saw a friends photo on here I would be on to my friend right away, I may try to help them by learning how the reporting process works etc but I wouldn't be stamping my feet and trying to do it all for them.

I had a c-mail friend here several years ago and saw someone using the exact same pictures, but obviously stolen as they were blurry and not nearly as nice as the original ones. I let my friend know and the next day the other person's pics (and/or profile, can't remember any longer) were *poof*.
