Yet that painting is worth 30-40 MILLION?  Really?  Some people will believe anything is wonderful "art" when others say it is so, I guess.

Why was she drunk on her ass at a museum?
I'm not sensing she's a pursuer of culture.
But it's lousy that she damaged the painting.
I hope they throw the book at her, the judge
should pee on it first.
I love abstract expressionism. I know it's
not for everybody but it is one of America's
contributions to the world like jazz.
And the museum is a wonderful feather in
Denver's cap.

Can you imagine the insurance underwriter on that?
"We'd like to insure it for $30 million dollars."
"Uh,.....no."

An unlikely art critic.

But I sympathize.

That someone would say that piece of trash is worth more than ten lifetimes of work made me want to pee on someones leg, too.

I'm with you, LafLady. I wouldn't give a nickel for that painting, and actually find it quite disturbing. I look at it and my reaction is, "Schizophrenia." It downright gives me the creeps. As far as I'm concerned, the drunken boxer babe did the world a favor.
