Caucusing is not voting. I realize they arent the same, but, if one takes the place of the other, shouldnt the same rules apply? It would be helpful if I knew which article the OP was reading so that I could see just what he was getting upset about. As an example. . . when the other half votes in the primaries, the vote workers know who he is / recognize him at least, because our voting areas are small. It could be something like that. Or perhaps they require a voter registration card. They must be using checking something to check how they are registered. So, if you're new in the neighborhood and people don't know you...................
