Barter is great and doctors working for free once in a while is cool too.

But it`s not any kind of solution to our huge health care issues.

Delivering babys and dealing with relatively young and health moms as Paul did is only one tiny fraction of what the healthcare involves. You can`t bring eggs or a chicken to a hospital to pay for cancer surgery or cemo treatments.

Back in the "good`ol days" that Paul and other fantasizers like to recall,a lot of people went without care and or died and few gave a fuck or even knew.

All of that's obvious but you can't know that if this nation were to take the attitudes again that it once had for helping people out on their own without being forced, maybe we could do better at providing healthcare for everyone. That said, he's not advocating that it's a fix for all. Why do you people stay so stupid about life. Why does logic seem to elude people like you.

Still no excuse to steal money from one person to pay for another person. I'm under no obligation to pay for the welfare of other individuals no more than they are for me.

People working and paying into private accounts for their own needs would be one way to help. Another would be to allow companies like my own to be not for profit/for profit hybrids where I could sell my signs at a designated price what I think it should be like a retailer so that I could make a decent "profit" on my products instead of taking a risk on donations. Maybe they have that now, maybe not but the charity organizations these days I know of have very strict rules which hinder them from making money. It's something I've thought of doing btw.

Instead they scrounge by because of the extremely limiting regulations where they can only do food drives and rallies and so forth.. well hell no with the way the economy is today and a number of other variations it would be very difficult. It's not impossible, surely not so because you think so.

What do you do for charity? Most people I know that don't back charity as a viable form are the very ones that do very little if any of it. See I personally know the power of it and I believe there are decent people out in the world..very few here mind you but I'm not talking here.

So anyway..the bottom line? I'm all for helping people out but don't try and force me to do it and try to call it a free society. It isn't going to go well in the near future for anyone if the government keeps trying it.

Believe that last line is bullshit? Take a peek at the new laws coming out. They aren't putting those laws into place because they expect ghandi to walk through the door. :)

BTW.. Of course they're planning something.. Look at how they act. Nothing like that would surprise me in the least but they won't get away with it for much longer. When people are snatching them from power seats and dragging them down the streets..meh maybe they'll realize things like the NDAA, forced healthcare, the Patriot Act, Endless wars at the cost of the economy, The Federal Reserve helping to break the economy and Obama killing Americans...might have been bad ideas. :)

Under the guise of trying to "protect" against voting disruptions from OWS-Iowa protesters,Iowa GOP officials are moving the vote counting to a "secret location".

Protesters can get pretty loud. As long as the "watchers" know where they are being held, its probably a good idea. I would rather the count be accurate and timely, then be done by people feeling harassed and rushed.

According to polls, there is a 100% chance Iowa will choose and the GOP is going to nominate a hypocritical, pandering, drone to run against PresidentObama.
