I am going to other side of the coin it here a little. I considered myself a submissive for years now and have been in many BDSM relationships. I met my partner on a BDSM site and love him but we don't really have a BDSM relationship any more. Its a strange thing, I am still turned on by the concept of submission but it simply doens't work in the relationship that I am in. This fact kinda means that I am not all that bothered about the lack of it, although I know that he has been. Though I understand a lot of people who say they need this stuff in their life, I think I just need a person who makes me happy however that may be, so turns out BDSM isn't that big a deal any more.
