Hello all,
I am a new, inexperienced but eager to learn female sub.
Any advice for the newbie, particularly from experienced subs would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely
Sarah

My advice is to meet people first, before a play partner.  Google "BDSM Brisbane" and see what comes up.  Contact the people who are locally active, and ask them about the local scene, etc.

Welcome to the kink world.

Hi Sarah and welcome. My advice is meet your local community, take it slow and use your head.

Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the discussion side of CM.

If you've been alone a while, watch for "sub frenzy". Take your time to pick the right partner and just because a guy self-identifies as a dom doesn't make him YOUR dominant. You only owe him basic human courtesy until you decide he is worthy of more. My submission is tied to my relationship, so that was far more important to me than what toys he had or what he wanted to do to me. That doesn't mean that the kinks list is unimportant. For example, I'm not a masochist, so a sadist wasn't going to be a good match for me.

Keep an eye out for "discreet/discrete" in profiles (it usually means they are married and cheating on their wives). When I was searching, if they told me they were married I asked to speak with their wife to get permission to play with them (they always ran like the wind).

Thank you all, I appreciate the kind welcome.
And thank you for the sound advice, I quite agree that I shouldn't be rushing headlong into any sort of relationship or agreement, ill just hang around and find my feet.
Special thanks to DarkSteve and Looking4mysir
Sadly the bdsm community is my city is very very small, but never the less i shall do my best to explore it.
Sincerely
Sarah
