Obama came up as my first choice. I was rather shocked to find that it listed gingrich and bachmann as my runners up...!

I got Ron Paul. (who I'd like if he wasn't crazy)
Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman were my runners up.

Obama then mitt then paul. Only because most of the choices were between something I didn't like and 3-5 batshit insane ideas that would be terrible.

Obama and I had the same position on 9 points. On one point each I agreed with Huntsman and Gingrich instead.

Obama, Bachmann and Perry which is pretty unbelievable as I never agree with anything the latter two say I don't think the answer choices were comprehensive, esp. the one about border security. I didn't really agree with any of the options. Not too scientific but fun nonetheless.........luci

i liked how the only possible response a real american could have to immigration was BUILD A WALL and the nuances were all in whether or not that wall should be guarded by sharks with lasers strapped to their faces. oh and maybe we should let rich people in too if they have the skills to help us build more drones.

it makes me sad that is not the fault of the poll so much as it is an accurate representation of the platforms of the legitimate (and in the case of ron paul, huntsman, etc "legitimate" is a really generous characterization) candidates. :(

The very fact that "eliminate trade agreements" was not one of the choices for the first question made me suspicious that it was a push poll and I closed it out.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Obama and then Bachman and then Huntsman.

However several questions did not have positions I agreed with and I had to pick the least of all evils.

Why wasn't there an option re gay marriage to state that it should be protected under the 1964 Civil Rights Act which bans discrimination on the basis of gender? Because banning gay marriage simply because two people share the same gender violates that.

And in the taxes question, why wasn't there a position to raise corporate tax back to the rates they used to pay?

Presumably the problem is that they were sticking to answers from actual potential nominees, who are more interested in fawning to the 1% than representing the other people who are also going to be voting in the next election. When some nominees with a spine appear, you might get a few answers like that. Until then, forget it.

I admit I did this for shits and giggles..

My result was Obama, then Mitt Romney (who is this?) and Michele Bachman..

I admit that I'd be worried if I was an American but then probably not as worried as half the posters in the P & R section if I were a candidate for the White House 2012.

Obama, Paul, Huntsman. When I saw the thread title, I thought what CM person is your political match. IvoryRose (new poster) os the closest.
