I ran across this while going through the news online http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/fullpage?id=15177995 and took the quiz.Just though some might enjoy seeing which candidate matches your choices on the quiz.

I took it and had to answer questions in ways I did not hold a view on, because my view was not there, and in doing so, actually had to answer with the least vile of my vehement disagreements. So I ended up with Barak Obama (who I will NOT be voting for, and didnt the first time) who nevertheless will almost assuredly be President.

just my opinion on abortion, and healthcare, plus gay marriage would put me outside the reach of ANY repub, but I did the same test twice with the same answers and came up with Rick Santorum and Bachman. yeah I think not. randomisers with not enough questions, bound to fail just done it again and Im coming up with Ron paul . THInk I will leave it alone now

I got Obama, with Paul and Perry as runners-up. Yeah, the multiple choice answers did not reflect my actual stands, so I had to just make do with some crappy answer that was the least of evils. In that way, the quiz simulated the actual election.

Obama and I had the same position on 9 points. On one point each I agreed with Huntsman and Gingrich instead.

You better hope this aint the real world, as it would give at most 5 total votes to any repuvlican candidate as president. And thats a real fuckin iffy 5.

Obama > Ron Paul > Huntsman. But really the test just proved that I don't agree with any of them, that all I can do is choose one that's closest. It's so creepy that 3 out of 6 answers for illegal immigration were a variant of "build a fence." Especially the double border fence one, that would make the US just one giant prison.

As an engineer looking for work, knowing other engineers looking for work - just why are we supposed to be in short supply?

You need as many engineers as you can find to build the wall, Steven. [;)] (My understanding is that engineering graduates are in short supply because it isn't seen as a prestigious or lucrative field, and it's also a highly technical, and rather difficult subject to study. I don't think there's been a serious push to encourage American schoolkids to study the sciences since the early '60s.)

Obama with Romney then Gingrich.... not surprised about the choices or the order in the least. But, like Master Ron, I had to go with the lessor of evils on some questions.
