Kirata -> No Good Deed Goes Unpunished (12/16/2011 10:17:17 AM)

Indiana rapper Freddy Gibbs had packed marijuana in his checked luggage; when his bag was screened, the TSA officer must have noted Gibbs’ unique interpretation of the “mile high club.”

But the officer didn't confiscate the marijuana or report the offense...

On the official note informing Gibbs that his bag had been inspected, the officer allegedly wrote, “C’mon son.”

Gibbs, however, not content with his luck, tweeted to the world that, "The TSA found my weed and let me keep it. They just left me a note. 'C'mon son'. Lol." He even posted a photo of the baggie of pot and the TSA Notice of Baggage Inspection.

Now, of course, the TSA is investigating. The kindly officer will likely lose his job. But on the brighter side, Gibbs, who obviously deserves an Asshole of the Year award, will soon be having a pleasant conversation with law enforcement.

I so agree with the sentiment, SJ, but is there another word you could use? Moron, idiot, lame ass, joke, knucklehead...

DarkSteven -> RE: No Good Deed Goes Unpunished (12/16/2011 11:48:17 AM)

From the Wikipedia on this idiot: "He has just recently teamed up with Cleveland's Chip tha Ripper and Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks of The Cool Kids to form the group P.O.C. (Pulled Over by the Cops)."

Sure, I have a million of 'em, tazzy. But since I am (or try to be, as much so as possible) a kind person with mostly love and understanding in my heart, who would never in several million years use the word 'retard' in reference to anyone less than a real jackass who deserves it, I'm afraid that my above post will have to stand as it is.

Actually, my Husband and I occasionally call each other by that name in complete and silly jest.
Sorry, in my book it's just another word. No offense to anyone else was implied or intended.

In Tennessee we had an incident of a similar nature, except the authority figure screwed himself. Porn star (yes, we have those here) got pulled over by a state trooper with bottles of illegal painkillers in the car. One thing led to another, and in exchange for her performing a close personal favor (starts with a "b", rhymes with "snow job") he tossed the pills into the bushes. She later blogged about it, which ended up getting the trooper fired. Here's the thing, though - she blogged because she was mad that even though he tossed the pills he still gave her a $180 speeding ticket. Call me an old fashioned gentleman, but I'm thinking you swap sexual favors for official lenience, you let the person giving you the favor off clean.

Nice guy, my ass. This was checked luggage so the TSA screener could check and see who it belonged to. Likely saw the owner and let him off because of who he was. Had it been me with the pot in my luggage law enforcement would have been waiting for me at my destination had they not pulled me from the plane beforehand. I hope they both get busted.

And here, I would say, we indeed have good evidence with which to dispute the contention that all men are created equal.

The best part is, the next guy to think, "Why don't I just let this guy walk..." will suddenly recall Freddy Gibbs.

He totally deserves to get fired:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=3196477&page=1#.TuyD7Zf4g1J

She said the two then moved inside Moss' cruiser where she said he asked about Web sites on which she might be featured. She gave him the domain name for her blog, and the two of them watched clips from two of her movies on the laptop in his cruiser, she wrote on the blog.

Then the trooper took "the hand full (sic) of pills and scatters them in the brush next to the interstate," she wrote in the blog. After that, she claims he asked her to follow him to a secluded place, where she performed oral sex while he allegedly took photographs and short video clips using a hand-held camera from his cruiser.

Justis said she didn't want to get Moss into trouble and suspects he incriminated himself by talking about the incident. She said he called her the day after the traffic stop to ask if he could share the tale with his co-workers.

She said the trooper also e-mailed her the photos and video, which she promptly posted on her blog.

Slightly unrelated, my sons school councillor told me 2 weeks ago that taking narcotics wasn't illegal, after a ponderous WTF? silence I managed to ask her Why then are they illegal? I then asked boy's headmaster to fire the thick bitch or at least ensure she is never allowed near my child.
