Volunteers working to recall Gov. Scott Walker said they have proof of the harassment they've been getting from opponents.

Reports of harassment have come in from many areas, and on Monday night, Brookfield police arrested a man after one such incident was caught on tape.

"I just thought this guy is out of control. I could just see the steam coming off his head. So I thought, 'Wow, this could be serious,'" volunteer Steve Nagel said

Nagel said he immediately started recording the incident when Fred Frisby pulled up to the area along Bluemond Road where the volunteers were collecting signatures.

Volunteer Steve Spieckerman said, "He shouted out. He asked me, 'What don't you like about Scott Walker?'"

Spieckerman said Frisby jumped out of his truck when he refused to answer.

"Then he let loose with a torrent of abuse and obscenities," Spieckerman said.

The video shows Frisby yelling, "Do you pay health care? No, you don't pay health care. You mooching off the system?"

Frisby can been seen grabbing the camera before it goes dark.

"He turned around and he jammed the camera back in my chest and he put his fist up to my face and said, 'How do you like that,'" Nagel said.

For every link you can find about "republican thuggery" there are a dozen just about the SEIU alone. ORGANIZED thuggery and intimidation, not some isolated hot head.

Aww, did the big bad republican yell at the poor widdle liberal. Maybe his mommy will give him a cookie when he comes home and tells her all about it. Poor little fellow.

Instead of getting a cookie, the other fella got a citation.

No big deal. The real story in Wisconsin is the request for additional time to verify signatures. Seems the GAB wants more time to go through the expected 1.5 million signatures.

I have no problem with them asking for, and getting extra time... they also want to get extra help.

And Im curious as to why some havent flipped over the allowance of Mickey Mouse and Hitler names.

because Tazzy they simply have too many accusations against tearing up petitions from their own side, they are keeping quiet until they can put on the appearance of being more superior as usual.

More thuggery, of a sort...

The signatures of Mickey Mouse and Adolf Hitler will be counted on recall petitions targeting Gov. Scott Walker as long as they are properly dated and include a Wisconsin address, the board charged with reviewing the petitions was told Tuesday..."We will flag them, but we will not strike them without challenge," Buerger said after being asked whether Mickey Mouse's signature would be counted. The board unanimously approved the board's plan for reviewing the petitions. ~wisn.com

"We will flag them, but we will not strike them without challenge," Buerger said after being asked whether Mickey Mouse's signature would be counted. He noted that in previous recall petitions, Adolf Hitler's name was struck because the address given was in Germany, not because of the name itself.

So? That's SOP for any nominating petition. The signature is considered valid unless challenged.

Do you really expect someone to vet every signature?

They already review the signatures, and questionable ones like "Mickey Mouse" should absolutely trigger an automatic challenge.

Your comfort with blatant fraud, and willingness to defend policies that perpetuate it, is disgusting.

Who pays for these automatic challenges? The state? Even in cases where the minimum limit s exceeded by say 50%? And who decides what is questionable?
