A couple of years ago, I didn't have cable, and would borrow movies from the library. My son had been watching this at his girlfriend's and got the season one DVD for Christmas. One day I was out of library DVDs', so I started watching it (being without cable sucks, lol). I was hooked right from the first episode!
I miss having the DVDs' now because I don't get to see the special features.
This season started slow, but wow! did it pick up.
I HATE Clay and so wanted Opie to kill him because I was so pissed when Clay shot Piney.
I love Tig, I think he is the most twisted, bizarre character and so funny. And he's hot on top of it (gotta love that bad boy/necropheliac thing he has going, lol).
We just re-watched Braveheart the other night, and I was amazed at how much Tommy Flanagan (Chibs) has aged. I have watched all the interviews and I still want to know how he got those scars on his face and wonder if it was the same way he sliced the Irish guy up before he killed him.
I wish they would show Bobby as Fat Jewish Elvis more, it was hysterical.
The first season, I was racking my brain trying to figure out who Opie was. That voice, I knew him from something. Then I realized he was Gary Bertere from Remember the Titans. So cool how he went from the clean cut kid to the long haired biker dude.
This show is just so great. I love how the club is so family oriented while they are running guns or being drug mules. Such a contrast. And the music! They always say how music really makes a movie or series and the music they choose for SOA just fits so well.
I was floored when the CIA broke in. Fell back down when the Mayan club president and the Galindo cartel head turned out to be agents!
Now though, I'm so pissed. I won't get to see any more SOA until NEXT FALL! What the hell should I watch on Tuesdays now?
