Status: offline 		I'm curious if anyone on here practices hypnosis.  I've been sort of practicing it for a few years now, and I'm eager to learn any new induction techniques.  Also, I'd love a good conversation on the topic, as most people I talk to in the real world tend to give me a blank look and say "You mean with a pocket watch?"  I'm afraid all of my "training," if you could call it that, was highly informal, so I only know two induction techniques.  Anyone who's done these will know what I'm talking about.  The first is having the subject tense and relax before leading them down a flight of stairs.  The second I discovered on accident, so I call it "rhythm induction".  I use the tone, speed, and rhythm of my voice, as well as my breathing pattern, to bring the subject into a light hypnotic state naturally before slowly deepening it.

I'm a hypnosis subject for my Master, but he doesn't participate on this side of CM (we use this site like little post-it notes left around the house for each other since we don't live together yet).

He calls me his little hypno-junkie

Well, I am curious how one would apply it to bdsm, I admit.  But I mostly was looking to talk about hypnosis in general.

I would definitely recommend checking out the hypnosis groups on Fet. You will get a LOT more information.

Regarding application of Hypnosis to BDSM some areas include:
Use of triggers to bring about trained behaviours or orgasms (you'll find yourself unable to look men in the eye; shaking my hand will make you cum)
Using hypnosis to inflict pain or pleasure without actually touching them (the sound of my hands clapping give you the same feeling as having your clit licked/the same feeling as a cane across your ass)
Guided dreams are useful in helping people to experience things that they might not do in 'reality' because the behaviour is risky or ummm morally questionable (ex. gangbang)

Naturally the ability to do any of that is dependent on the skill of the hypnotist, the level of trance and the acceptance of the subject.
You could not (or should not) make someone against bestiality, for example, enjoy fucking a dog. Even in a good level of trance I would hazard that their subconscious would reject it. Even if you succeeded, they would be VERY upset with you and you would lose any trust they ever had in you...not to mention them badmouthing you to everyone else. It would be like violating a safeword. Bad juju.

I will throw in that I have done all of those (though not with the same person). Again, check out the hypnosis groups on Fet. I found my hypnosis teacher and my current mentor (with over 40 years of experience) there.

Status: offline 		When I was just starting out, there was a guy in the extended circle of kinksters I was involved with who had developed, through years of deep trance, guided visualization, and conditioned response, a set of "magic handcuffs". If he trusted a domme enough to share the magic word, she could literally tie him up with his own imagination. This was a full somatic effect. You could cuff him to a post, and he would not be able to get free (gravity notwithstanding, of course). Watching it happen was surreal.

I've studied books, and my spiritual practice includes a lot of trance work, but I've never had a play partner who was interested.

Great question. I use hypnosis on many subs and surprisingly it is them who ask for it. I also like using mind control as well as orgasm control and humiliation. In some circumstances it is better when the sub is a willing subject and on other occasions it is better when the sub is forced. But of course it all depends on the situation. I am usually much more interested in a sub who submits to Me willingly and completely.

If you want to get to know more people into kink and hypnosis, check out the aforementioned fetlife groups. if you primarily want to increase your skillset, check out a hypnotherapy forum or even takle a hypnotherapy course. Nothing beats a little formal training, you might even help some of the people around you!

Status: offline 		The Elman induction is probably the best, all around induction.

Instant inductions would best be learned in person.

Confusion inductions on their own or elements worked into a relaxation induction are another alternative.

But, what most people expect are either eye fixation or relaxation inductions.

I suspect you can find a good, certified trainer in your area. Maybe there's someone you can work with in a local group?

Pretty much the question is, why do you want to learn more inductions. It's usually not the induction at question, but rather the rapport between hypnotist and hypnotee.
