Iamsemisweet -> I am going to miss Herman Cain (12/2/2011 2:49:22 PM)

His campaign debacle just keeps getting better and better.  Now his campaign has a website that refers to his accusers (or former squeezes, depending on your point of view) as pathetic, husbandless women.  Bet Gloria Cain wishes she was one of them about now.

Herman Cain’s struggling presidential campaign has created a new website that they say is a “fellowship of women dedicated to helping elect Herman Cain” — but the real purpose seems to be to destroy the reputation of his accusers. While the website “Women for Cain” is chaired by Cain’s wife, Gloria Cain, it does not offer a single statement by her. Instead, it asks other women to share “thoughts and encouragement for Mr. Cain.” The candidate has described the accusations of sexual impropriety as “character assassination on me,” but it may be the alleged victims whose characters are being assassinated with the comments his campaign has chosen to publish. Featuring a stock photo of women giving thumbs up — a photo that’s been used by numerous other websites — it quotes a woman named Barbara Dayan. “Dear Mrs. Cain Don’t pay attention to these pathetic husbandless women who are jealous of women like you in happy long-term marriages,” Dayan wrote. “These vindictive women can’t find a husband or keep one. They are like stalkers who try to latch on to any man who shows a bit of kindness or attention to them.” “It’s pathetic and shameful women are so desperate for their five minutes of fame that they would position themselves against the greatest potential president Americans could be blessed enough to have,” Margaux Melby opined. “I believe these ‘women’ are looking for money and attention and have been groomed by the ‘Demonacrats’ to be a bunch of bad actress,” Angela Schudy complained. “The Left is desperate and they are low enough to break the law and lie.” “[A]s a REAL woman I do not believe for one second any of these ‘women’ that have crawled out from under a rock somewhere to defame you and bring pain to you and your family,” Cheryl Vaglienti remarked. “They are pitiful creatures at the very least, and evil at the most. Isn’t it convenient that they have suddenly become offended by supposed advances by you now after all these years, my goodness, poor babies, how have they been able to bare up under the pain for all these oh so many years… LIARS, LIARS, LIARS…GO GET THEM HERMAN AND PLEASE DO NOT QUIT!!!!” “I also hope you pursue a slander, libel, defamation of character suit against this moneygrubbing, lying woman,” Darlene from Long Beach, California advised. ” I do not believe a single one of the ‘women’ who have accused you,” Karla Heidt commented. “Don’t let Satan and his demons win.” As for Gloria Cain, there were indications Friday that she may finally be ready for her husband to abandon his presidential ambitions. “Sources close to the campaign say Gloria Cain wants her husband to leave the race and has no desire to do additional interviews about their marriage or the constant accusations,” The Daily Beast’s Allison Samuels reported. “They describe a woman angry that her life has been turned upside down by her husband’s need for attention and power by any means.” Cain admitted Thursday that he had not told his wife about his “friendship” with Ginger White, or that he had given her financial support. The candidate has said he will have the first face-to-face conversation with his wife over the weekend, and announce Monday if he will withdraw his bid for the Republican nomination. so much stuff flying about now, like hes taking a week to consider his options, texts coming out, and even more texts, altho they arent incriminating if she is a friend needing help

He "hasnt seen his wife" since ginger white came out with her alllegations, today is the big meeting, fuck if I was his wife , I would be wearing his balls as earrings. Theres also a story out that they have had a rocky relationship for years with her turning a blind eye, etc , how much is true? how much is setup how much is bullshit, or if theres another five waiting in the wings, its not the point , I feel sorry for his wife more than anyone, thank gawd his family are grown.

Where are his phone records, his bills of sale, his bank records, why wouldnt you put that out as some kind of evidence on the whole clusterfuck, I know he is sposedly innocent etc etc , but that never works so why not debunk it, not with words but proof
the handling of this is ridiculous
but then so was Clintons CF
Just my POV YMMV

tazzygirl -> RE: I am going to miss Herman Cain (12/2/2011 3:06:47 PM)

I kinda wonder if he's thinking he's running for Pope or President, he sounds like a 3rd rate TV preacher, anybody caught that rubbish about the doctor being called Dr Lord and the nurse called Grace? I wonder if he molested Grace - given his previous history with women, I kinda pity every female that has to be close to the repulsive lizard... And let's not forget his racism, that Obama isn't black because he has a white mom...

tazzygirl -> RE: I am going to miss Herman Cain (12/2/2011 4:07:29 PM)

That was one of his first appeals... his preacher like quality.

That might work if he would try to be Pope, but I would prefer a politician to be clever, aware of things, I don't care how well he can sing Hallelujah and personally I don't care if his scare is J like Jesus Christ, it was science that did the trick, it shows that science is without prejudice

No such thing as "bad" publicity when you are trying to sell something.Herman is definitely selling something, and the rubes are buying though he has dropped off the Times latest best sellers list....although,given all the different stories he is putting forth maybe I should check the fiction list [:D]

I hope he dstays too,for as long as possible.

"Women for Cain' launched by campaign"

While Herman Cain has yet to decide if he will continue his presidential campaign following an allegation he engaged in a 13-year extramarital affair, his campaign is pressing on with efforts to promote his candidacy.

Team Cain officially launched a "Women for Cain" website Friday billed as an "online national fellowship of women dedicated to helping elect Herman Cain as the next President of the United States."

The site says the former pizza executive is a strong advocate for women and is complete with testimonials from over 30 women. It also names Cain's wife of 43 years, Gloria, as the national chairperson.

Most of the comments encourage Cain to remain in the race, with some criticizing the women who have lobbed accusations at the former radio talk show host. Other messages ask him to ignore the media.

"I hope you pursue a slander, libel, defamation of character suit against this moneygrubbing, lying woman. Granted, she has no $, but it would send a strong message," a comment reads on the homepage.

One post calls the women "money hungry" that "make me sick to my stomach."

Another says "PLEASE DO NOT PULL OUT OF THE RACE," adding that she is "encouraging everyone to ignore the media, GOP establishment, (elitists, statists) and the Obama administration to do the right thing for our country … Remember Clarence Thomas and hang in there."

Dr. Alveda King, a Cain supporter and lead voice behind the drive, said the site is the culmination of months of work intended to connect "people of like hearts and minds that are praying for Mr. and Mrs. Cain."

"I would be very blessed if Mr. Cain decides to stay in the race," King, the niece of the late Martin Luther King, Jr. and daughter of the late civil rights activist Re. A.D. William King, Sr., told CNN.

Cain has spent recent weeks rebuffing accusations of sexual harassment and most recently claims of an affair from Ginger White, an Atlanta businesswoman.

He is currently "reassessing" his 2012 plans and in an email to supporters Friday asked them to show their support for his candidacy.

"As I assess the future of my campaign, I need to gauge the support of the people of this great nation," Cain wrote. "In today's political environment, the only way we can gauge true support is by the willingness of our supporters to invest in this effort."

Unnecessary.  Sounds like he was doing just fine with the ladies even without them encouraging him.

I'd like him to hang around too. I really don't care how many affairs he may or may not have had. (How he treats the women concerned is quite a different matter in my book.)

Some people are taking the GOP candidate selection process far too seriously. Herman is compelling evidence of just how much of a comical farce it is. [:D][:D]

When it comes to a contest against someone with some real political talent and skills - Obama (despite his failure to meet the strasospheric expectations placed on him when he assumed office) - they'll all get crucified.

My impression is that the only one with any potential to rise above the mire is Huntsman, and he seems to have fallen under the radar completely. (Am I missing something here? Huntsman barely gets a mention in the Australian media) Is he too liberal for the hard-line Right that seems to control the GOP and its constituency?

My cat would beat Dear Leader. You people elected a real "O" and you know it. November 6, 2011 will be a pleasure!

Yes, Huntsman has been labeled as a RINO.

And he is the only GOP candidate that is moderate enough to appeal to the majority.

I used to think Romney was until his recent comments sucking up to the teabaggers.
