I had about that much time between enlisting and reporting for duty. I broke up with my bf, moved back home, got a dead end job, and just dated casually. One is entering a whole new life when joining the military - best to clear the decks.

I wouldnt consider someone for a collar in that time frame. Would I consider allowing someone with that limitation to serve me on a personal level? Possibly... but likely more as an occasional thing.. assuming they brought something worthwhile to the table. I wouldn't start a personal RELATIONSHIP with one though (i.e. romantic).
