Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I am very new to the BDSM scene, this web site is actually my first step into it. I'm trying to figure out what my interests are, as well as find safe ways to make contact with my local community. I live in the California Bay Area and that makes it feel somewhat overwhelming, as I don't know where to start. I know that I'm a submissive female, and looking for a long-term monogamous relationship with a dominant male. I've tried having a one night stand before, and not only was it unsatisfying it left me feeling very empty inside, as did my last 'relationship' which was on again off again for two months. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you again for your time.

Hi there!

This may sound entirely contradictory seeing as how you're a straight submissive woman looking for a Dom man, but I'd recommend you look for a submissive woman or a couple active in the community, and close to you. Not for any kind of play or relationship, but just to guide you into the local community. I read your profile and looked at your pic, and the Doms will all be jumping over to meet you when you show. If you've got someone with you, it'll slow down the insanity.

Welcome. In my area , submissive women have their little group going on. Like DS says , I would recommend getting in touch with a couple of them, and soon enough, you will meet lots of folks. Take your time, be picky and enjoy the journey
