Im surprised to hear that someone hasnt come up and said this is Obamas own doing to cover his arse... to be able to say...They arent MY supporters. its Not a Obama movement, But then will be convinced that he willll buy votes with it. Conspiracy theorists and plain ol ODS peeps particularly.

He paused the show and listened instead of putting a diaper on. There were a bunch of people around me who were laughing and chanting O-Ba-Ma ... It was funny. Unlike GOP gatherings those folks were treated as if they were expected. And before people were let in, Occupy NH was outside about 100 strong. And a man from the Organizers (I think, he had a New Hampshire accent) came out while we were talking and said. "You are invited to attend today's event. However due to limited space we can only accommodate 25 of you". The Democrats must have a bigger tent.

Obama licked their asses after they quieted down, and that wont go over well with the 2/3 of the country that considers OWS to be a bunch of clowns pouring out of a VW.

He did speak to the two people that were handing him the note and we were about 10 feet away, so I couldn't hear what was said. I spoke to the guy I get tweets from in OccupyNH and he said that "It went better than I thought it would. And we'll have to wait and see what if anything he gets". Now I _don't_ know if he'd talked to that guy with the glasses of the black woman that actually got his ear for a while, so I can't say his statement was a specific reaction to their interaction with the president. This was mainly because we had raced up there to attend and had to run back to get my daughter at the end of the school day and it's almost and hour from Manchester to here. I'll tweet the guy and ask what he felt about it after the fact and let you know if he responds.

Actually, he was very classy and treated them with respect.Listened and asked that others listen too. Calm,concerned and collected.A leader, who`s willing to hear all sides. The cons? Running around like chicken`s w/ their heads cut off.

It was actually real nice... And I thought the kids and parents directly in front of us had fun with it, and their counter-chant and all. But Willbe's right... it should have been handled like Karl Rove did... Yell some "my poor right to lie" caterwauling followed by a couple of big fucks pushing the protesters around with maybe an underhand punch or two. That's the real way you show you're a real American... To have a conniption fit and fill your diaper right up with a stinky one.

I was curious because, like Lucy, everything I read said he didnt. It is nice to know he didnt try and dismiss them. In that regard, yes, he has an upper hand with the occupiers... but a misstep and he can just as easily lose it.

I think that any politician that doesn't start concerning themselves with REAL FUCKING MIDDLE CLASS CONCERNS, is going to find themselves WAY out in the weeds. They're sick of hearing the last groans of Reaganomics repackaged as the Neo-Deal. It's a complete hallucination that's fueling it. Take for example Willbe's 2/3 of the country. Here's that 2/3 a couple hundred miles from his door the monday after a dozen or so kids got pepper sprayed by campus cops while peacefully awaiting their arrest.
