The weird thing is that "Generic Republican" does better against him than any actual Republican.

That's the GOP's problem with this one: a "Generic" candidate would probably be vastly preferable to the voters than any of the weird freaks they have actually chasing the nomination...

Ahead this poll, lagging the next. The president is going to be elected to a second term.
How close it will be remains to be seen.

The ursurper should not even be on the ballot, much less be re-elected.
How big a landslide defeat it will be for him remains to be seen.

Tsk tsk.... jealousy does not become you.

Oh yes it does.......[:D]

Democratic Pollsters: Obama Should Abandon Run for Second Term

President Obama should abandon his run for a second term and turn over the reins of the Democratic Party to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, two one-time Democratic pollsters wrote in Monday's Wall Street Journal, which appeared online Sunday.

Patrick H. Caddell and Douglas E. Schoen argued that just as Harry Truman and Lyndon Johnson decided not to pursue additional runs though they could have, Obama should do the same.

“He should abandon his candidacy for re-election in favor of a clear alternative, one capable not only of saving the Democratic Party, but more important, of governing effectively and in a way that preserves the most important of the president's accomplishments. He should step aside for the one candidate who would become, by acclamation, the nominee of the Democratic Party: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,”Caddell and Schoen wrote.

Not at all weird. People will not say they would vote for someone they dont support in the GOP primary because it will lend credence to their primary run. Once support solidifies around a candidate they will move solidly ahead of Obama.

In your fantasy life he is along with the other 1500 Ron Paul experts nationwide I heard they got their own Special Version Of Face The Nation To Enjoy.

I still like the analysis I inserted from the homicide detective from Boondock Saints better ... it was a lot more accurate.

I guess you are right: one of these clowns will be installed as a new president. It does not really make much difference if it will be Obama, Gingrich, Romney or some other from this category. I recommend people not to waste their valuable time and stay away from the spectacle.

It is important to remember that these polls are not aggregate values, where they simply ask whom people would vote for. All of these poll results are from one-on-one matchups.

Also remember that President Obama is at over 50% with every opponent, including the generic Republican. Even if one Republican candidate had every single bit of support that the generic Republican has, it still wouldn't be enough to cross the 50% threshhold (unless we're dealing with percentages above 100%). Granted, this poll is only a snapshot in time; that value could change.
