Yup. The Republican party booted him for not kowtowing to the industrial leaders of the time. He then formed the Bull Moose party and was the only 3rd party candidate in history to finish as high as second in a pres race defeating the Republican nominee. (The Dems won that one)

Status: offline 		Not only has he been consistent, his message of sensible foreign policy and fiscal conservatism (which his plan shows) ranks him pretty well now in Iowa and NH.

Once he wins Iowa and I think he will, he'll begin to surge in other primary states as well.
